Democratic strength of Voting process has been , on the whole, Possible and Peaceful (more or less) in Civic Poll (30 Th May'10) in West Bengal as there were abundance of Police force ( both State & Central) covering everywhere.
Inference : Democracy will function well & prove welcome , if the Administrative supervision and control works ,Free and Impartial for the benefit of People as a whole and not for the Ruling Party alone.
***TMC should learn FAST the Tech. of making UNITED-FRONT for better result.
