Really , there are only two divisions in Humanity for Caste- consideration i.e ' human' & in-human'.
Swami Vivekananda was declared 'outcast' by Dakshineswar, after he came back from America ('Kala-pani 'effect) and was not allowed to enter the Temple.
I think, it is suicidal and foolish to allow flare up this issue in this 21st century and again in India.
In reality low mentality is the real 'Low caste in any Society'. I have known noble sweepers and also beast-like high-caste men. It is the quality of soul ,not the social or economic level that decides the issue.
The Costitution and ' Customs' of this Land need a lot of Amendments , reformations and wash-ups , I think.
Bachchan's declaration sounded like a smart ' AD' .
