Coming back to India after long stay out side , I find the dominating trend in West Bengal is Muscle- power, Group or crowd-strength, propaganda and' Fear is the Key '-technique . The upper layer leaders has developed the Street- Fight-Technology, abusive language and verbal acusation and threat and slang-culture and thus pushing the mild and peace-loveing and isolated /seperated middle class to a corner. The second and other layers of followers are happily following and copying their leaders vocabulary and spreading them through Media and and nerve-wrecking 'Loud-speaker' System of Modern Time without caring for the helpless old and handicapped section of the society , You come out and plead, - only to see your house burnt or be treated roughly.
This is the present West Bengal, a name that is even now the colonial stigma ( ask Buddhijibi-s) while Real Bengal is now' Bangla Desh' with its National song Sonar Bangla and her National Language "Bangla' respected even at U.N.O.
