The CENSUS should be done without qualifying high, low ,ST, OBC etc . I have seen poor Brahmins folding down like a slave/servant before OBC MIilionairs.

INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA
Indeoendence of INDIA, I think, was as a result of Post WORLD WAR II, bringing about the Economic strain and collapse of Global economy , making it a burden oan any Feudal/ Colonial world-power and ,also, too heavy to hold colonies on its Broken-shoulder(British/ French Etc).
The Non -violence of Gandhi might have been a strong Factor but not the whoele story/history of the AFTER MATH, other than a CO-INCIDENCE.

Even Otherwise, My Mother-India was torn off into PIECES and my own Mother-state , BENGAL was severed into two i,e Bamgladesh and West BENGAL. I shall never accept that, - INDIAN-INDEPENDENCE was, in any way, NON-VIOLENT gift to us with BENGAL and PUNJAB brutally incised into TWO Parts ,-each each.
Even the warring and defeated GERMANY has been United into ONE , since , while East Punjab and West bangal are still two amputated Tragic STATES in INDIA.

And ! whom should I thank for or be grateful to ,for this tragic SURGERY on the back-drop of United Germany ?

Once, West Bengal & CACUTTA was known to be the safest place, for ladies, to travel , even alone at dead of night . To day , even Train -travel near Dhakuria Station of KOLKATA is dangerous to Ladies , even in Ladies Compartment. Mamata Banerjee is one of the number one leaders, even at National level and even Parliament is worried about the injury she sustained at KOLA GHAT of West Bengal.
But who will talk about MAMATA Panja , the ordinary woman of Bengal, traveling in Ladies' comprtment on a train at Dhakuria Station , Kolkata and being threatened with a knife at her neck. Where is the safety of Train-travel , now under Mamata Banerjee, the Railway minister of India ?
Mamata Banerjee has all the right to raise the issue of her safety in West Bengal in Road-travel. But who will raise the issue of daily threat of death and robbery on train -travel in West Bengal?
It seems , to travel on a train in West Bengal, these days is as dangerous as travel through wildest jungle of Carnivorous animals !

One of my very rich friends suggested to me to hold an ALL INDIA Competition of SCAMS,Black money holding in Swiss Bank and Corruptions as National sports ITEMS and decorate the top ranking ones , GOLD, SILVER and dark Medals and then tell the WORLD that with 1.2 Billion people and intelligent active brains , we may not win many gold Medals in thei OLYMPIC GAMES, but we have so many indeginous fields to win all the Gold medals and where the other Nations of the world would have very little chance to come to our level and --....; suddenly I broke through the dream and regained my Insomnia.

COMMENT : There were lot of dialogue simuating Intellectual exchanges and most of buddhi-jibi-s saying more without moving to the centre . This reminded me of famous story of 'blind men' trying to describe an elephant.
No body could conclude the real character of 'political dialogue.'

To me ,most often Political dialogues are initiated - not to find out a solution but , cleverly , to travel with time and wait for each one's advantage. It is , most often like a Chess game , making subtle move to get more time.

Yet , after experiencing mentaly yesterdays La Garh Episode TV -Coverage) , I as a retired Physician, a Poet and an Artist [not un-recognised in those fields] and as a NRI back in INDIA , make the following observation , after feeling the Pulse of West bengal at th wrist leve of LALGARH :

LEFT FRONT has lost the right to Rule from the Next Election term . This opinion is also based on my own experiece and examining the level of Corruption , Mafia -spirit , almost in every 'lane & cross-road' of West Bengal. Left fron Ruled for a whole Service-life (34 yrs) and has to allow CHANGE.

Bringing Change or Winning an Electio (2011) which TMC will perhaps achieve. But winning Election and Ruling well for betterment and on behalf of peope as a whole are not the same thing.. To an ideal Ruling Party there is no Party interest but only Interest is the welpfare of all people , be that TMC, L.F, independents, haves and have-nots . And no carried -over enmity for any section . If MAMATA can achieve that , she wil have the right to stay ; other-wwise TMC may have to leave in infancy.
CPM wil be defeated but shall not vanish and has heitage. And ,I think Strong opposition is essential for GOOD Governance,
What Impressed me most and as I always said [Recorded} . Real Bharat ( INDIA , a sang word) belonged to these ADI-Vasis and we the mixed Aryan hybrids were INVADERS. History will support this, And ARYNYA FOR ADI VASI-s Is the RIGHT Slogan and Ideal approach. To encroach on their Land with the pretex of Urbanisation and then plunder their Forest weath and Sub-soil minerals shoud be resisted with all physica and Moral courage.

In a nation where more than one-third of population is starving [e.g India], all rich people of high Income group should be taxed Extra [ say 10 % ] on their yearly income to support the Poor. Otherwise , the poor peope wil have the divine right to take up arms or use force for Equity Right.
