Personal View : Once 'ASHRAMS ' in Early Indian Civilisation was Synonym with "TAPOVAN'( Meditaing Resorts)'
Now 'Ashrama' means "FORD-NOX" of Temoles or Wealth- hoarding-device under Religious Shades.
No wonder , -why Nadir Shah invaded 'SOMNATH TEMPLE ' Seven times and without resis tence.
Ii is also said that if all the hidden gold in all Temples of India was gathered under a non-Corrupt Central-Govt., even U.S.A would have been coming to India with a 'begging - bowl'.
